Tooling Validation
TOOLING TESTING AND VALIDATION
Once the material has been tested, chosen and validated in collaboration with our customer, we proceed with the testing of the final tooling, as well as pre-run tests.
Depending on the results obtained, the tooling is validated or modified to achieve validation before going into production.
FIRST PART VALIDATION
If there is one phase that is of the utmost importance, it is the validation of the first part (also known as FAI – First Article Inspection).
This consists of validating several aspects of the part such as dimensions (in accordance with the plan), aesthetics or colour.
The “first part validation” is essential because it serves as a validation of the part, on the one hand, but also of the tooling.
It is also during this phase that the injection parameters are determined (establishment of a settings guide for each project to ensure consistent quality).
